House extensions in Auckland

Moving house can be an emotional and expensive ride. Extending the home you have can give a growing family more space, or add value to the property.

How it is priced

A realistic estimate

House extensions are priced from a realistic estimate, so you know what you are likely to spend. No job is too small or too big.

Upsizing your home

Our builders can help you work out exactly what space you need to add to your home and how to build it, and then we make it happen.

What we can add

Need more space to work from home? Kids taking too long in the shower? Wish the kitchen was bigger? We can add:

  • A new loft
  • A garage
  • An extra bathroom
  • A sunroom
  • A new layout for the rooms you have

Work until it is right

We work hard to build what you planned, and we see your extension through until it is just right.

When the work is done, we can recommend trusted interior designers or point you to your next steps.

Questions about house extensions

What kind of work do you do?

There is nothing we would not consider. We look seriously at any idea you have and give you our professional opinion on whether it can be done. We talk through your budget and give you an honest estimate of the costs involved.

What happens if something comes up that was not obvious when you first looked at the job?

We tell you straight away, not at the end of the month or later. Phil talks it through with you on site and we price it. Once you accept, the work goes ahead, so there are no hidden charges at the end.

What if we want to make changes during the job?

Not a problem. We talk it through on site, check the change is possible and whether it will hold up the job, and give you a price for it. Once you accept, we go ahead with the change.

Do you handle plans, consents and the Code of Compliance Certificate?

We work closely with designers we can recommend. For the Code of Compliance Certificate, we can help you get it, or we can handle it fully for you. Just tell us at the first site visit how you would like that part organised.

How long does a job like mine usually take?

It depends a lot on the size of your project. General maintenance work can take anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of weeks. Renovations and full additions vary with size too, but you could be looking at 10 to 20 weeks. Phil can give you a better idea when we first talk it through.
